reaching out

I plan on rushing at UA fall of 2015 and I am from the north. "Tier" rankings are pretty much irrelevant to me and I want to keep my options open. A few actives have began following me on social media, but is there any other way I could get my name out there? Should I email someone off their websites and tell them that I am interested? Thanks!!

No, do not reach out yourself. That is very forward and most people would probably be off put by a PNM doing so, myself included. Just keep your profiles clean and cute and go to spring preview day if you can. That is all you should really be doing right now.
