Is a senior picture okay to use when providing a picture for recs? Some girls I know did an entirely new shoot for their rec's and I wanted to know if that was really necessary.

That's completely fine. I did the same thing and got into the hottest sorority.

As long as it looks like you do when you rush. The point is for the photo to help the sororities identify you when you are at their parties.
