i miss the excitement of rush

You obviously haven't made very much effort then. You get what you put into it. My ENTIRE first semester starting bid day was the absolute time of my life. But I actively made plans, tried to branch out with all of my sisters, etc. It's only boring because you're not putting any effort into it.

if you're an active, go you. You're one of the few in my opinion who actually like rush. If you're a new member, yea you need to take some initiative. Meet your new sisters and enjoy your first year being a part of Greek Life! The first year is definitely the best one
