is it common to drink on bid day during the festivities or are people sober

I would say a lot of actives drink mimosas and stuff on bid day, but as a new member I didn't drink until all the festivities were over because I wanted to remember everything and my parents were there.

Are supposed to be completely sober houses. Doesn't always stay that way, but you aren't supposed to

As an active it isn't too bad to drink a little. As a new member it wouldn't hurt to awit for the festivities to get over. You'll have more then enough time to drink over the course of the semester haha.

The guys are usually completely hammered though.

Everybody gets completely hammered! Some if the funniest videos are taken on bid day where all the girls are completely slurring their words.
