profiling during fraternity rush

Do fraternities profile during rush? For example, If I had a beard would I be instantly shutdown? Or if I was slightly overweight (still under 200) would I be shut out? If I had a low 3. GPA would I be shut out? If I did X sport and not Y sport would they have no interest in me?

To an extent. You'll be judged on your clothes and appearance but not nearly as much as the girls are. They'll more just look at how you act at the rush events when around others.

They don't care about your high school grades haha.
