by: RushI am from out of state and wanted to know what fraternities I should be focusing on. I don't wanna be wasting my time trying to get into fraternities where I will have little to no shot of getting a bid. I don't have any preference on whether the frat is "southern" or not cause that really doesn't matter to me, just want a frat with a good group of guys.

from out of state doesn't render you obsolete from any frat, but I would assume you probably don't have a shot at KA, SAE, or DKE, just because you would already know an active. Depending on from what area you're from, different fraternities take more from certain areas. Pike is pretty diverse, EX has a good amount of Northerners, etc.
