Hey, I'm a sophomore coming to UA in the fall from Australia and was wondering what my chances are of joining a good sorority? Because I'm obviously from overseas I won't have any rec letters which I've heard is a problem, so does that automatically stop me from getting a bid?

is a girl from the UK who went ADPi last year. I'm not certain about her rec situation but I'd say you have a shot.

There was an Australian girl in Alpha Chi five or six years ago.

That said, don't set yourself up for disappointment by only wanting a "good" sorority. You must keep an open mind to every chapter.
