Can a tranfer from a community college who is a junior get a bid?

It's possible...but unlikely. You'd need stellar grades and/or very very close friends already in a sorority. Only a few will consider a junior. There are plenty of freshmen and sophomores with great grades wanting in.

Yeah, it does, but it's still kind of hard. You just have to get out there, make friends and hang out, see who you mesh with. Forget Old Row, but as an older guy you're probably not going to put up with their hazing crap anyway. There are plenty of other fraternities, though.

It's just all about your ability to get along with the guys that are already there. One thing to consider is your pledge class will be mainly freshmen, but you'd have the chance to get to know older guys. Give it a shot for sure, can't hurt to try.
