i'm curious

by: Beth

I see this a lot, so I'm wondering how different the definition of 'old' money is. I would define it as going at least back to my great grandparents. But even that is subjective as to how much is much. Like, 'he was a doctor' money or 'our people have a US President in the line' money....

a term mainly used by the people who care about being old money. New money isn't bad and I don't know why people make a huge deal about it. Money is money

Last time I checked an "old" dollar spent the same as a "new" dollar. "Old" money just thinks it is worth more. Kinda like an antique is worth more than something you bought yesterday. But is it? That new item will eventually turn into an antique.

Don't worry about it!
