Rushing as a sophomore
by: GophsWould you recommend rushing as a sophomore? Is it easier / harder at all

I’d recommend it!! I rushed as a sophomore, and I know a lot of other people who did. It’s not any harder or easier, but I liked it because I knew more of who i was and what i wanted in a house, rather than being an overwhelmed freshman. many people who rush after their first year are super happy and find their place!

IMO, it’s actually easier to rush as a sophomore. If you’re rushing a sorority, they have a quota of upperclassmen they have to meet—so it works in your favor. (I.e. you’re “competing” against the other upperclassmen who are rushing for invites back, versus freshman.) you’ll have a better chance of getting the house you want!
