number of bids for informal recruitment?

Does anyone know how many bids sororities are giving out for informal recruitment? Going through the process right now and I’m nervous since they seem to have taken on very little in past years.

It depends on the sorority. They can COB up to total. How many people are actually in each sorority and what total is this semester aren’t public knowledge

I would say between the chapters that are doing spring recruitment (AGD, AXO, Phi Mu, Theta, G Phi) there are between 50-60 bids to give out. There isn't an official number, but this is a good estimate.

If you are not bid during COB it never hurts to stay in continued, meaningful communication with members of the greek homes you have visited. Being an overall friendly and cheerful person thru all matters of collegiate life makes a good impression to those with whom you interact, be they greek or no. Then your participation in next year's formal recruitment may net you a bid!
