It's the first day sorority women are allowed back on fraternity property after recruitment, and the first night new members go out with girls in their sorority. Everyone wears black. Pretty much every frat throws a party and gives away free booze like water. Usually it ends in a bunch of VERY drunk freshmen new members who don't know how to handle their alcohol. In recent years PHC/IFC have taken steps to try and end it, like fining any members caught wearing black in social media photos from that night, alternative events, etc.
