If you find a place where you fit then no you will not feel judged or bad for being a middle or lower tier sorority! This site - and maybe recruitment - may make you feel otherwise but outside that (in my experience at least) people are very supportive of different sororities! Getting involved within your chapter and especially within Panhellenic helps to feel like stereotypes don’t matter and to some degree don’t exist.

If you want to know anything about sororities or frats- don't look for it here. When you go through recruitment, you'll know where you're meant to be and the rumors and stereotypes don't matter! each chapter is different and has its own benefits

Honestly it does matter. Bottom tier sororities don’t usually have as many parties or don’t get paired up with good frats. Also the girls are usually still bitter that that’s all they could get. Everyone puts on their best face for recruitment but there’s a reason some sororities are more selective than others...

They have date parties and formals that are more fun and well known. Let’s face it and not be bitter, the top tier sororities have better functions and better philanthropy events. They get to hang out with other top tier sororities and frats.

No. Don’t worry about “ranks.” Find somewhere where you can be yourself.
