when should i try to join a sorority?
by: anonShould I COB, wait til spring, or wait until next fall? I went through formal rush and didn't find a place. I really want to be in a sorority. What is the best time to try again if I want the best chances of getting in?

It sounds like the pace and numbers of formal recruitment might be overwhelming, and that's ok! You are not alone.
I strongly suggest Spring COB. Many houses will have spaces due to Fall Semester graduations, transfers, and people who drop out. In COB, you get to sit down and actually talk to people without all the distractions of formal recruitment. Go for it!
