To the person who said it's for the chapters who don't meet quota you are so wrong it's funny lol it's probably the most strategic thing a chapter can do and if you don't realize that that's why u slipping.

COB is not as strategic as they want you to think. Truth is, they just have a ridiculously low retention rate because their sisterhood is so horrible and they have to make up for it with COB. "Doing it to get dance team girls" isn't an excuse either, as my sorority got several dance team girls during formal recruitment. If those girls could do it, the other dance team girls could, too. Nice try though.
