how is ucsd greek life

it seems like the ucsd greek life is very minimal compared to other schools. is that a correct assumption or does it just seem that way as an outsider?

Everything the person above said! AND we don't have the same stupid rivalries between houses generally people are just friends within the greek system, which just makes it one awesome community.

Lol Greek life here is a joke. All the parties are a fifteen minute drive at least so it's a pain to get to while most other UCs (Berk, LA, Davis, SB) their Greek life has actually houses near campus so it's easier to rage. The parties are glorified high school house parties but since no one here partied in hs they wouldn't know what those are. Greeks think they're a lot cooler than they are because they're the 5% that party at ucsd. Honestly if you want to party here you unfortunately have to go Greek and it's mediocre at best. Greek life here is no way better than other competitive schools in CA it's a running joke.
