SAVE YOUR MONEY

by:

Okay, since no one else will tell you this here I go. IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY TO JOIN A SORORITY THAT'S ALL ONLINE!!! If your new chapter is not offering discounted dues for an online quarter it is NOT worth it!!! Rush next year instead!! Your first quarter/year in a sorority are the most fun tbh and given the pandemic you are missing out on all of that. IDC what they tell you. It's not worth it! Focus on your classes, grades, career aspiratons, building relationships, and add greek life to the mix next year. If you drop now, before initiation, you can still rush all sororities again next year.

Are there any chapters that aren’t discounting dues?

This is getting downvoted to hell but as someone who’s been in greek life for four years YOU SHOULD NOT BE PAYING DUES FOR THIS!!! it’s not too lat to drop, save money and rush later when it’ll actually be worth it

chapters are all over the place this year. on sisterhood night theta said theirs this year are $540 while pi phi’s are far over $1,000. although some chapters whose only redeeming qualities are partying may not be worth the money, other chapters actually have a sisterhood that can be beneficial during these times :) most of the women who went through recruitment did it to join an organization that could help them adjust to college during these times.

Theta dues are $120 or something for virtual quarter in fall and then like $40 for winter and spring if virtual...
