this makes the 4th consecutive quarter that aphi was under the all undergraduate women's average gpa...

By: ...
by: really?

Can PHC punish them for being under the all women's GPA for so long? That used to be one of the big talking points to get girls to rush was that all the sororities avg gpas were higher than the non-greek womens gpa. We should have panhellenic standards too. To non-greeks they represent all of us - not just their sorority.

Chapter-Fall-Spring-New Members-Drops-Change
PiPhi---100-----99------0-------1--------1
DG------110-----10------0-------5--------5
KKG-----107-----101-----0-------6--------6
Theta---104-----96------0-------8--------8
XO------126-----117-----0-------9--------9
TriD----99------95------5-------9--------4
APhi----105-----100-----5-------10-------5
AOII----98------90-----~4------~12-------8
SK------105-----92------0-------13-------13
AXO-----90------77------8-------21-------13
AEPhi---60------58-----~1------~3--------2

The first 3 columns are total membership numbers for fall and spring, and number of girls recruited in winter and spring.

AOII and AEPhi didnt list their new members as new members so the numbers listed with a "~" in front are a minimum. so aoii recruited at least 4 girls and had at least 12 drops. however the numbers are likely higher they just arent listed anywhere to get an actual number. these are just the numbers required to make the math workout. so for every extra member recruited there is an extra drop. Chapters listed at zero new members may have also recruited and just broke even on drops/recruits or had more drops than recruits that quarter and didn't list as new members so they are hidden.

I think the most interesting column here is drops. I feel like it all breaks into 3 tiers. the 1-5, 6-9, and 10+. SK has a surprisingly high number and I also didnt realize how hard axo and aephi were struggling.

These drops pretty accurately rank the chapters haha the only real outlier is sk but they have been doing worse lately so it makes sense. Also switch xo and theta and you have some accurate chapter ranks!

Yeah other than sk and the xo/theta thing it perfectly ranks the chapters. Crazy

by: nah

sorry but a phi still isn't that high though, you don't get to be ranked last for grades and participate in like 2 phils all year and claim to be above sk or even aopi and axo for that matter, also I'd be tentative to put tri delta that high

I mean I agree aphis grades hurt them a lot so they should be moved down. Below sk and aoii is fair but idk about axo. Axo lost over 20 girls in a year. Thats some serious chapter trouble. Aphi has terrible grades but they seem more stable than axo. Also i think tri delt is above aoii and fine there. Move up sk though.

you can tell a lot from a chapter who flies girls from other aphi chapters in during rush so their room looks better to pnms

Did that really happen? Kinda shady if the girls you're talking to don't even go to this school

To be fair, they're a brand new chapter, havent even been active on campus for a year. None of those girls have ever gone through recruitment from the other side, so it would make sense for their nationals to fly out veterans to help them through the process. Every veteran chapter usually has 1 or 2 people from other schools come out as well, frats included.

by: no aphi

"veteran" chapters have national advisers fly in every few years to guide the chapter through recruitment and make sure they are adhering to any national policies. These women do NOT help recruit and never speak to pnms or even enter the room where a recruitment party is happening. They stay in the back and help the chapter administratively at most.
