Ive heard alot about dirty rushing, but honestly a lot of the sororities do it here because they actually accept upperclassmen unlike other schools. So its a given that theyll let in some friends, they all do. Their image as a whole is getting better and it seems like they arent just recruiting just for looks anymore

This chapter has been working really hard to build back up its reputation. It has not been the best in the past but it has been improving. The new pcs are awesome and really care about their chapter.

Stopping cutting your legacies!!! You have no respect at all for your alumni. And it’s kind of stupid considering we are the ones donating to your chapter. It’s nice to hear from Nationals that you have been under their “ umbrella of suspicion” for awhile now for dirty rushing. So embarrassed to be one of you. The Aphis used to have class.

Don’t know what you’re talking about. A girl in my Pi Chi group is a legacy and just got in. If they didn’t take a legacy I’d bet there was a pretty good reason for it. Not that I’m sure you’re even telling the truth. Every other negative thing I’ve read on here about them has been wrong so far.

Just because someone is a legacy does not mean they should get in. They were probably rude or did not fit the chapter. The whole point of rush is to find people that fit the chapter??? NOTHING is guaranteed because your mommy or auntie was in it honey.

Really?- I AM the mommy or the Auntie. You’re rude classless response just proves my point. I was an APhi before you were probably born. Someday you will grow up and hopefully realize that sisterhood extends beyond your four years of Instagram posts and parties. Until then don’t come at your alumni who made that chapter with your attitude thinking we won’t take this further. You’re up way past your bedtime “honey”.

There was probably a good reason why they didnt get in. They dont just cut legacies for fun. Every sorority dirty rushes and thats why all of greek life at ball state is going down the toilet.

I don't think any sorority should take their legacies if they are not a good fit. That is why they have rules that if a legacy is invited to the final party, they are at the top of the bid list. Not every legacy of a mom or aunt is going to make the cut. Different kids, different times. Suck it up, buttercup.

Alumni have nothing to do with who chapters recruit. This is about the girls going through recruitment and the girls already in the chapter. If it's not a good fit it is not fair to ask a girl back because you are depriving her by taking a spot of somewhere she could really fit in. You would think you would understand that considering you're an alumni. I don't understand why you're an alpha phi alumni and you came on here talking crap about your own chapter. If you are saying they don't have class now, they clearly didn't have class then. You are obviously grown and you are complaining about "posting things on instagram" but you decided to use an online source to try and solve your problem. If you want to address your problem reach out to internationals and they will tell you the same thing, legacies are not promised anything...that would be the dirty rushing you are also complaining about.

Have to agree that legacies shouldn't be cut by any sorority or frat unless they have done something not withholding up to the standards. Alumni are the backbone of any organization. Problem with Alpha Phi is they are going down hill. They definitely dirty rushed this year. Heard about several, sweet, pretty girls who rushed formally this year and were turn down by this sorority yet later Sunday night (bid night-same night as others being turned down) they gave out several 'informal bids' to girls that didn't even go through the formal rush process. Sad just shows how fake they are. Our frat refers to them as the party girls that you hook up with haha

talk about dirty rushing!! these girls are obviously writing these posts bc aphi is trash. everyone drops but they like to look pretty on the outside but once your in.... you can’t get out fast enough!!! all they care about is partying and only care if your pretty and fit their esthetic .... this isnt the typical aphi that youve heard of, i really have no idea whats going on with this chapter, they arent the typical hot or fun aphis, i wouldnt join this sorority if you paid me
