If you have Alabama girls, they are more likely to marry Alabama boys and settle down in Alabama, where they will be available to be chapter advisers and where they will send THEIR daughters to school. OOS girls are more likely to graduate, go back home, marry their boyfriend, and not be around to advise or send their daughter to Alabama. It doesn't happen like that with everybody, but for the majority it does.
