70-80% of girls that rush DO NOT get their top pick or even top 3 picks from day 1 of recruitment. Sometimes it’s just a tough pill you need to learn to swallow. So many things go into why you get selected by a house. Maybe you were better looking than another girl but she knows people in that chapter already. Maybe your grades were a red/yellow flag. Maybe another girl connected better with shared values/ experiences. If you got into a house and you aren’t happy you have the right to drop and rerush but the chances you re rush and get your top pick are pretty slim. So your best bet is to have a honest conversation with yourself and decide if you are going to make the best of your situation. I can promise come junior year most people will have already dropped their sorority or at the very least no One even cares what house you are in.
