Dear PNMs, Please don't take what you read on here as fact. Please stop asking us (all) at library walk or info night (or eventually during Formal Recruitment) about what you read on here. This is the TMZ of information about Greek Life. You're heading into Formal Recruitment, and you're going to meet AMAZING women in EVERY DAMN CHAPTER YOU MEET. And guess what?! Yeah, some of them have flunked a class, some of them may have had one too many drinks at a party, some of them may have done something they wish they hadn't Snapchatted to their Mom, but this doesn't in a ANY WAY define who they (or their chapter) are. If you're thinking going through FR will show you an "overall" chapter reputation, you're sorely mistaken. The sorority women on this campus are educated and diverse, and hardly fall into one single category. The sorority women you meet found "their people"-the people that made them feel comfortable, that they knew would build them up, and make them stronger. THAT'S how they found their chapter. It wasn't what other PNMs thought after parties, it wasn't what their friend heard about that chapter's reputation at some other University. And it DEFINITELY wasn't what was written on Greek Rank. Please be better than that. Find the people that will build you up, and make you a more comfortable and confident YOU! (P.S.-No one can tell you that-but you'll know it when you see it. We all did).
